Dr. Seth Wallack, DVM, DACVR
CEO
Board-Certified Veterinary Radiologist
Dr. Seth Wallack is the founder and CEO of VIC and is the Chief Radiologist who oversees all of our research projects. He is board certified in radiology and has special interests in MRI, translational medicine, small animal ultrasound, and exotic animal radiography, and is also the owner and CEO of the only stand-alone veterinary radiology clinic in the country, Veterinary Imaging Center of San Diego (VICSD). He has published professional articles and book chapters, and he has lectured on various topics, including feline hyperthyroidism, MRI, ultrasound, and radiography in both regional and national meetings. Dr. Wallack firmly believes in developing technology to improve efficiency and recently created his second teleconsulting platform, Vetology.net, and has recently submitted a patent for use of 3G and 4G technology in ultrasound streaming. Understanding the importance of continuing education for the veterinary community, he founded and is the director of the American Association of Veterinary Radiologists (AAVR). He received his veterinary degree and completed a four-year radiology residency at the University of California, Davis.
William A. Ladd, MD
Consulting Radiologist
Dr. William Ladd is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and specializes in diagnostic radiology, neuroradiology, and nuclear medicine. He received his training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and holds a master’s degree in physics from MIT. He has over 25 years of experience in radiology practice and is a Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. Dr. Ladd was also previously a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, San Antonio, as well as the Section Chief for chest and mammography while at the Wilford Hall US Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Ladd received the San Diego County Medical Society Top Doctor Award in both 2005 and 2007. He has experience as a radiology and clinical trial consultant for the Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC) and Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) in San Antonio.
